A high proportion of humpback dolphins have scars that suggest shark attack.
MyVillage is an exciting
new community support initiative linked
to MySchool.
In the MySchool programme
parents carry cards and their school is
the beneficiary.
In the MyVillage programme
Endangered Wildlife Trust
members can carry cards that benefit the
Endangered Wildlife Trust.
HOW
DOES THE SYSTEM WORK?
•
Personalised and uniquely
numbered, the MyVillage card identifies the cardholder
as being a supporter of their chosen beneficiary.
•
The card is not a credit/debit
card – but works as a tracking card to record
your support for the Endangered Wildlife Trust.
•
Every time you shop with
a MyVillage/MySchool business partner (over 2000),
present your card and a percentage of your transaction
will be paid to the Endangered Wildlife Trust.
This percentage varies from business to business.
Your support in these stores helps the EWT protect
biodiversity in southern Africa.
•
The success of the programme
is determined by you remembering to use your card
and by shopping at the MyVillage/MySchool network
business partners.
•
You will receive a list of
current business partners when your card is delivered
to you in the post. These are also available on
the website www.myvillage.co.za.
•
There is no cost
to you for the card. Our only request
is that you remember to use it.
•
By supplying your email details
you will be sent an email monthly, recording your
transactions and advising you of new partners
and current promotions.
Current National Partners are Woolworths,
Engen, Waltons, Kalahari.net, Fascination Books, Tile
Afrika, Milky Lane and Juicy Lucy. Many branches
of Spur, Wimpy and Mugg and Bean
are also on the programme.
If you are a current
MySchool supporter, you are already registered and do
not need a new card.
These are your options:
•
Continue to support your
school
•
Change to support the Endangered Wildlife Trust
•
Split your support between your school and the
Endangered Wildlife Trust
To change your current supporter profile
