Can you tell me more about the EWT's history?
You will find comprehensive information about who we are, our history and what we do under the Who We Are section. Visit the For the Media section for more on our history.
My child is doing a project on endangered species, can you send me some information?
Please visit our Threatened Species section under the For You menu. It covers all the threatened and endangered species that we work with. For information on other species, a good place to look is the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species website at www.redlist.org.
I would like to buy an owl and bat box, do you sell these?
The EWT does not sell these boxes, but can send you instructions on how to make them yourself. For owl boxes see our Birds of Prey Programme, for bat boxes click here. Gauteng residents can also visit their nearest GardenShop to buy an owl box or contact the Gauteng North Bat Interest Group for bat boxes.
I would like to work for the EWT, how can I apply for a job?
We advertise all our vacancies on our website. Please check the careers section regularly and apply.
I would like to volunteer with one of your projects, is this possible?
Most of our projects are based in remote areas and as such casual volunteering is not possible. We do however often make use of volunteers at our head office, for duties such as administration, writing, graphic design, video editing and help with events. Please get in touch at the bottom of this page with any ideas that you have for volunteering.
